IntelliSuite: Solutions for the MEMS professional

IntelliSuite is the industry standard tool for MEMS. It is used by MEMS professionals wordwide for design, development and manufacturing of MEMS.

A strong pedigree

IntelliSuite is the leading software for MEMS professionals worldwide. The IntelliSuite family of CAD tools ignited the MEMS industry in the ’90s. IntelliSense has been at the forefront of the MEMS revolution — introducing the first software for MEMS (1993), the first integrated CAD tool for MEMS (1995), the first anisotropic etch simulator (1997), the first MEMS CAD tool for the PC (1998), and the first microfluidics tool (1999). IntelliSense Software continues to innovate, releasing the industry’s first RF MEMS design tool (2002) and the first bioMEMS design tool (2003).

IntelliSuite was originally developed to meet the needs of IntelliSense's MEMS foundry, one of the largest MEMS only foundries in the world. It was here we learnt the need of tightly integrating process and design; the need of incorporating real world usage patterns to meet tight deadlines; and the need for creating a tightly integrated set of tools that can be used not just by electrical engineers but by people from multi-disciplinary backgrounds including biologists, physicists and chemists.

IntelliSuite has been in continuous development for the last 12 years and now boasts the widest range of features available in a MEMS tool. It is unsurpassed in its simulation capabilities, robustness and ease of use.

With users in over 20 countries, IntelliSuite is the industry standard software for MEMS.

How suite it is

With MEMaterial, AnisE, IntelliMask, and IntelliFAB, you have a full arsenal of process tools spanning material databases, process characterization and optimization tools, anisotropic etch modeling, layout, and process design. Individually, each tool is the best in its class, and together as a tightly integrated suite of products, they work seamlessly to unleash
your creativity and bring your ideas to market. Much like Microsoft Office’s suite of productivity tools for your daily office work, IntelliSuite offers you all the tools you will ever need as a MEMS professional. It will become an indispensable companion for your MEMS productivity.

Speak a common language

IntelliSuite is designed around collaboration, allowing the design team and the process team to work together to create MEMS devices that can be prototyped and manufactured with fewer costly iterations. IntelliSuite starts the design process not from device geometry but from fabrication machine settings. This approach leads to the creation of highly accurate models, which demonstrate that device geometry and behavior are a result of process conditions. IntelliSuite optimizes MEMS designs prior to fabrication, reducing prototype development cycle time and cutting manufacturing costs.

Design the next small thing …

IntelliSuite comes with all the design tools required to take your product from concept to market.

We ship a full complement of tools that will allow you to perform process modeling, device layout and device analysis. IntelliSuite is fully featured — completely coupled electrical, piezoelectrical, mechanical, and thermal analysis tools come standard, allowing you to perform linear or non-linear static or transient analysis. In addition, optional modules for Electromagnetic and Fluidic analysis are available for your disposal. We are constantly monitoring the latest developments in the MEMS scene for additional features. Of course, we can also custom develop features for to meet your specific needs.

IntelliSuite gives you unlimited creative freedom to design virtually any MEMS and has been used to design and bring many MEMS to market.

Use it to design and develop your next big or small idea!
